Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and implementation of maintenance solutions.
- Provide technical assistance, materials selection and creation of guidelines.
- Lead and carry out Maintenance Engineering activities, deliverables and maintenance for all projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of downhole logging tools to ensure operational readiness
- Support field operations, including tool preparation, mobilization, and on-site troubleshooting
- Assist in deployment and handling of logging equipment during field jobs
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and tool history
- Ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures at all times
- Travel across Oman and the GCC region to support operations as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in oilfield services, preferably in well logging and maintenance.
- Good understanding of cased hole tools electronic systems and troubleshooting
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Willing and able to travel frequently across the GCC region
- Strong teamwork mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and capable of handling field equipment and manual tasks
Physical Demands
- Could involve some lifting, up to 20 lbs.
- May require travel.
- May require strenuous work activity due to the nature of the Upstream business.
- Ability to perform physical requirement of job which may require prolonged physical exertion, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing and working awkward position and areas.
